Today my husband and I celebrate SEVEN (wonderful, fun, interesting, hard, high, low, dull, exciting, blissful, complicated, et al) years of marriage. I would say the number one thing that has remained a constant and a main connector, through all the ups and downs that marriage can throw at you, is that we can and know how to have fun and LAUGH together, at each other, at ourselves, and at life! So….we thought we would have a great laugh and poke fun at the proverbial “Seven Year Itch” by creating this photo; complete with his original lei form our wedding (dried out as it is), the back scratcher we got in a fruity drink coming home from our honeymoon, and of course the cure all for any itch, the calamine lotion. We have decided, albeit a little weathered, we still look pretty damn good and we have this marriage thing in the bag (or something like that). We are a LITTLE wiser now and look forward to (at least) another seven years of learning, laughing, and growing old together! We hope you will be able to laugh with us today. Enjoy (life), it’s too short not to.
