Portland Abstract Artist
I love creating abstract art because it uses the visual language of line, shape, and color to create a composition, free from visual references in the world.
My art encompasses the fundamental changes taking place within and the effects on my perspective. There is a personal and meaningful story held in each piece. Abstract art is an expression of feelings, memories, and associations which are challenging to articulate. I feel empowered by the outlet it offers me, to depict my experience in this way. This is my art therapy. This is my brain in paint and on paper. This is my creativity in raw form.
